PeoriaIllinoisian has a sad, beautiful short film portraying the houses and neighborhood of Maplewood in their final stages. The music makes it seem like a prayer.

I grew up at 841 N. Maplewood in Peoria, IL. This house, along with the other houses on the 800 and 900 blocks of Maplewood, will be demolished soon to make way for Bradley University's expansion. In order to commemorate a great neighborhood, I am putting down some memories, facts, history, etc. about Maplewood and all the stuff that happened there from the 1960's through the 1990's. I will post until I get all of the reminiscing out of my system (probably a few weeks).
